Yes. You just need to send us your CAPTCHA image through one of our API clients, we solve it and we send you back the CAPTCHA text. Don’t worry! There are many software out there that can automate this process for you.
You can use our service by either using a pre-existing automation software, or by developing your own automated application. If you couldn’t find a helpful software or don’t know how to develop an application that can help you bypass your CAPTCHAs,click here for additional help.
You need to register an account in DeathByCaptcha. You must then look into your software Settings for “Captcha”, “Captcha Services” or “Captcha Settings”. Once there, you must select DeathByCaptcha as your Captcha Solving Service of choice and enter your username and password. If DeathByCaptcha is not included in the software you bought, you can still use our service through our DeCaptcher, Antigate or 2captcha APIs. Alternatively, you could contact your vendor asking to integrate DBC`s API, and we`ll be happy to work with him/them to make it happen.
DeathByCaptcha does not require a license key to use the service. If you are using a software which requires a license key, leave the field as it is or empty.
It depends on the API client that your application/software uses:
  • Standard Port for HTTP: 80
  • Socket API: 8123–8130
  • DeCaptcher socket API: 8223
No! You don`t pay for incorrectly solved CAPTCHAs. The software that you use must have the “Report as incorrect“ function implemented. This function will be responsible of telling our service if the CAPTCHA that we served was incorrectly decoded. Please note that you should report an incorrectly solved CAPTCHA within an hour (60 minutes) of its submission, because we recycle space every 60 minutes.
If the captcha was properly decoded on a timely manner, we cannot be held liable for the upcoming result of your activity. This is so because many factors out of our hands can affect this. You can verify your recent submissions while you`re logged in by going to the Previous Submissions page. There you`ll see your submissions (last 60 minutes) and the responses we`ve given you, allowing you to cross-check your reports. If we detect your application is marking even correct images as wrongly decoded, we may have to put your account on hold until we can clarify the situation with you.

I. You could try software like ZennoPoster or Ubot, which will allow you to automate almost any particular task you want, without too much hassle. These process automation softwares give you the tools to easily create a bot with little-to-none programming skills. II. You can get a programmer to write a bot script that suits your needs using DeathByCaptcha API to solve CAPTCHAs automatically. If you don`t have the required programming skills to extract, store and send us the CAPTCHA, we recommend you to hire an overseas freelance programmer to help you in this task. Yes. If activated, your text images will be charged at 2x (double) the normal rate, as we`d be sending your images to up to three (3) different workers to ensure maximum accuracy.

If we do not get a 100% response match for the image, we will return a "?" response and your account won`t be billed for it.
We have a hybrid resolution approach which has proved to be highly effective, it uses Optical Character Recognition and human captcha resolution combined.
We don’t offer full support for it at this time yet some of them can be solved using our regular ReCAPTCHA V2 API. You can contact us via chat or email if the captcha on your targeted website can’t be solved and let us have the URL and approximate monthly volume that you need to bypass and our team will be in touch with you.
Our captcha packages are priced with the text captcha rate as reference ($1.39/1k). If the captcha type solved is reCAPTCHA or any other (besides text) the rate is higher and ranges from $2.89/1k to $3.99/1k. Then you would be able to solve half or less the number of captchas advertised in the package.
You can just close it if you are not interested in chatting, if it still doesn’t go away you can refresh the page and it will collapse by itself.

It usually takes from 15 to 30 minutes for the CAPTCHAs to be credited to your account. If, for some reason, your credit hasn’t showed up in 30 minutes, there might be a problem with the information provided when purchasing the packages and our payment processor may give you a call to verify the data you provided.
You can avoid this by doing at least one of the following:
  • Try to order using the same e-mail you used to create your DeathByCaptcha account. In case you want to change the email address you are using in DeathByCaptcha, you can do so by going to My Account.
  • Try to avoid using your payment information from a public network, a proxy, or from a different region/country.
  • Only insert real/valid information.
  • The payment processor will not approve your order if you provide incomplete or invalid information, even if you`re paying with a verified PayPal account.
No. If you don`t provide them the information they require, they`ll refund the money involved in the purchase.

The membership is not a stand-alone package, it doesn’t add balance to the account by itself; a regular captcha package has to be ordered additionally in order to count with balance initially, then in a ~30-day period the balance which corresponds to the membership gets credited to the account ($6.95 which is equivalent to 5k captchas).
The Gold Membership is our subscription package, it renews automatically every month, the primary advantage of this membership is acquiring 5k captchas at a discounted rate (paying $4.99 instead of $6.95 which is the regular cost of a 5k captcha package).
DBC Points are part of a loyalty reward program. You accumulate DBC Points on every order that you place, they are not added immediately however, DBC Points are credited after the balance corresponding to the order fully runs out.
If your payment is in ‘pending’ status it means that the payment processor needs to authorize the transaction, you can get in touch with them and they will explain what information is needed from your side to get it finally completed.

That solving timeout is purely client-side, so that the client does not poll for CAPTCHA status for too long. We may charge you if the CAPTCHA you`ve uploaded has been solved within our internal solving timeout tough, which is 3 minutes. However, with our average solving time around 10—12 seconds, this is rarely (if ever) an issue.
